Main Article Content
Abstract
This study aims to describe literal listening literacy and its application through a differentiated learning approach in learning Indonesian in higher education. The research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a literature analysis approach. The research data is sourced from literature relevant to literal listening literacy and differentiated learning as well as secondary data in the form of student learning outcomes documents in literal listening skills. Data are collected through literature studies and documentation, then analyzed descriptively by identifying the ability to understand the information conveyed explicitly, such as main ideas, facts, details, certain information, and information sequences. The results of the study show that differentiated learning can support the strengthening of literal listening literacy through adjustments to content, processes, products, and learning environments. Its application can be carried out through variations in audio types and tempos, the provision of scaffolding, and variations in the format of listening tasks according to student needs. Thus, differentiated learning can be an adaptive approach to support the development of literal listening literacy without changing the competency goals to be achieved.
